Barton Knight Energy, sister company of Barton Knight Electrical, has appointed Commercial Director Paul Vine to its executive board. Paul was invited to join in mid-2024 by long-established electrical contractor Barton Knight Group, in order to launch its renewable energy branch.

Barton Knight Energy is the Group’s latest venture, having installed numerous EV chargers over the past five years as Barton Knight Electrical and worked with NHS Trusts to fit infrastructure allowing excess power to be fed back into the grid (UK Power Network).
“Our team of electricians had a lot of experience in the field already,” explains Matthew Barton, Managing Director of the Barton Knight Group. “Many of our existing customers – homeowners, landlords, and businesses – had asked us for more renewable energy products. It was an easy decision to expand the company. Our financial stability meant we could invest in a division that specialises in this sector. With Paul on board we’re also able to offer strategic consultancy on energy use and procurement.”
